Quartzsite Jan. 12th
Dave and Sheila Blaby, friends of ours from the flying club in Cloverdale, are parked at LaPosa South, a long term camping area just outside of Quartzsite. There are likely thousands of RV's parked in the desert around this town. They asked us to join them when we arrived, so we did. It costs $40.00 for 2 weeks or $180 for 6 months to stay here, we are only staying for five or six days, still a good price. We have done some exploring but other than distant mountains and desert, there is not much to photograph.
Today we drove down to Imperial Dam BLM to scope it out, not sure if we will go there. We drove through a RV Resort, nice but pricey. There were these animals to take pictures of though.
Rocky Mountain Big Horn
Then this bird, not sure what it is but nice to see. From the photos, you can see it is a very grey day.
I wanted to clean my solar panels, so when I was up there I took a couple of pictures of the RV's in the Long Term Visitor Ares. This is a very small sample of the amount of units in this area.
There are five or six more areas that have thousands more RV's. The big RV show starts this coming weekend. That is the main attraction, we are heading for the Balloon Festival in Lake Havasu on Tuesday.
Since I was nicely asked, here is the weather
Cloudy, chance of rain, 17deg. with light winds. It will likely get down to 11 tonight.

Thank you for the weather 😊
